Submission Wrestling
The matches will be contested under modified ADCC rules. Fights will last 6 minutes with 3 minutes without points and 3 minutes with points. The finals will be 10 minutes with 5 minutes without points and 5 minutes with points. Due to having shorter match durations than regular ADCC rules there there will be no penalty point for pulling guard. If a non-final match ends with equal points the referee decides the winner based on aggression and activity. If a final ends with equal points a 2 minutes overtime round is called. There are no limits to the number of overtime rounds. All overtime rounds start standing and there are no rest periods between the rounds.
Advanced divisions:
Barring the modified match times and the no penalty for pulling guard the advanced division is contested under regular ADCC rules.
Beginner divisions:
Any athlete who has a blue belt in BJJ or equivalent, has trained grappling for 2 years or more or who has won gold in a division with 8 or more competitors cannot enter the beginner divisions. In the beginner divisions the use of heelhooks, slams and neck cranks will be prohibited and any athlete performing one will be disqualified without warning.

8.00-10.00- Weigh-ins and setting up of brackets will be held at the venue
10.00-10.30- Grotta grappling jr tournament
10.30-12.30- Advanced Weight Classes Male and Female
12.30-15.00- Beginners Weight Classes Male and Female
15.00-16.00- Advanced Open Class Male and Female
16.00-17.00- Beginners Open Class Male and Female
